Key Accountabilities

Job Specific

  • Set an example of positive leadership and teamwork for others by striving to achieve the company’s strategy and goals.
  • Proactively manage all domestic and global balcony production activities in a structured, consistent, and efficient way to achieve desired balcony production outputs.
  • Set up and maintain regular communication with domestic and global balcony manufacturing partners, keep good records of the discussions via Power Bi reports, and delegate, execute, and hold other supply chain members accountable for critical actions required to maintain the desired production flow.
  • Visit balcony suppliers when required to maintain a good relationship with the supplier’s production teams, review their production process flows and balcony quality output.
  • Collaborate with Procurement and Logistics managers to plan balcony production in the most efficient, commercially viable, risk-averse manner and report back to the Production Director.
  • Submit production forecasts to all key balcony suppliers quarterly to provide visibility of upcoming work and aid factory resource planning.
  • Prepare, assist or oversee Vesting process, including drafting vesting certificate s, obtaining product photos and drafting vesting schedules required for successful submission of the financial applications in line with the revenue forecasts and client requirements.
  • Maintain regular and professional communication with the customer commercial teams and set an example of world-class customer service.
  • Assist or oversee client vesting visits to Sapphire production and storage locations to ensure customer satisfaction and swift application payments to Sapphire.
  • Take the initiative to improve the Production, Revenue and Vesting departments and customer experience through enhanced processes and IT system automation.
  • Manage your teams in a supportive and professional manner, ensuring regular feedback is provided via 1-2-1 meetings and quarterly appraisals.
  • Brainstorm and draft department goals on a quarterly basis, broken down in SMART principles and in line with the overall company strategy.

Forecasting

  • Forecast revenue in line with the design plan, production plan, and delivery plan. Hold colleagues accountable for providing required information within desired deadlines, working with purchasing, production, finance, and contract managers.
  • Ensure all projects in the contract projection model have a revenue forecast.
  • Ensure all new sales projects included in the order book are added to the contract projection model.
  • Monthly revenue projections are circulated within agreed deadlines, and weekly revenue meetings are held with the finance team and contract managers to monitor progress and analyse areas of slippage and increase.
  • Quarterly revenue projections are validated and circulated to the Board in the first month of SC20250506KK each quarter.
  • Update the split of revenue in CPM between different products and suppliers.
  • Work with the Finance department to implement a Cash projection model to complement the CPM and provide the business’s overall cash flow position.

Reporting

Weekly:

  • Revenue progress – performance against target
  • Production progress – notes and key slips or boosts highlights
  • Team performance – against key KPI ’s
  • Quarterly goals progress – against Quarterly goals breakdown

Monthly:

  • Production report- performance against monthly target across all suppliers
  • Revenue report- Boosts and Slips

Quarterly:

  • Quarterly goals report – summary of the quarterly progress
  • Delivered to the Production Director for presentation to the board.

Leadership

  • 1-2-1’s booked in the diary on a recurring basis to provide the platform for regular feedback.
  • Responsibility for Team accountability to department and company goals.
  • Conduct Appraisals on quarterly basis and submit within agreed timeframes.

  • Adhere to any HS&E policies and procedures to ensure the safety and wellbeing of self, staff and visitors

  • Ensure compliance to company policies, guidelines, purchasing policies and procedures including planning your time, responding to emails and phone calls promptly, submitting timesheets, attending staff meetings and team meetings.

Key Performance Indicators

  • Weekly balcony production run rate at agreed level.
  • Monthly revenue forecast is within 10 percent of the actual applications.
  • Monthly revenue projections on all projects are circulated within first 10 days of each month and weekly revenue meetings commenced.
  • Vesting schedules and supporting documents issued on time and with 95 percent of the projects
  • Implement at least two strategic initiative s in your departments per annum.

Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications and Experience

  • Proven experience in implementing initiatives aligned with the company’s strategic objectives. Commercial and financial awareness with a complete understanding of how failure impacts production and customer order fulfilment.
  • Five years of working effectively with construction procedures, materials, and project management principles, including experience in modular off-site construction.
  • Two years’ experience within the construction/manufacturing industry.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, interpersonal and influencing skills.
  • Analytical and numerically astute with strong demonstrated problem-solving abilities.
  • Able to manage time effectively, prioritise tasks, proactively move forward multiple tasks at any given time and achieve set targets.
  • Able to work well under pressure and handle emergency and reactive situations.
  • Assertive, resilient and welcomes change.
  • Able to read technical drawings.
  • Keen attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Computer literate, with Excel and Sage skills.
  • Full UK Driving License, preferably clean.
  • Project Management Certification would be beneficial.
