Challenges at Lillie Square

We take a bespoke yet simple approach to each new challenge, incorporating unique detailing and sizing for each Glide-On™ balcony. The approach for Lillie Square was no different with uncommon detailing such as an ‘I’ beam look to fascias and tight balustrade deflection tolerances. The project was developed by EC Properties Limited and designed by John McAslan + Partners.

Solution

Our innovative balcony solutions allow for bespoke requirements. Working with the facade company, we offered training for the install teams and loaned bespoke install equipment to enable quick and simple installation of all the balconies. We were able to create bespoke fascias made from aluminium extrusion, to look like steel ‘I’ beams. Using heat strengthened 12+12mm laminated glass balustrades.
