Clip-On™ anchors were custom designed to connect Sapphire balconies to precast façades.
Clip-On™ replaces our standard cast-in anchors for precast anchors with external clipping hooks. They are installed directly into the precast façade during casting.
We then connect a prefabricated, cantilevered balcony directly onto these clips after the panel is installed onto the building. The clip itself is quick and simple – a bit like clipping in a car seatbelt.
For most balconies, this can usually be achieved with just four fixing points – two at the bottom connecting to the Cassette, and two at the top connecting either directly to the handrail or supported by a tie-rod system. These connections are then mechanically fixed with ease, making the whole process simple and repeatable.
