Two-piece stub and arm system enables later-stage arm attachment. Maintains scaffold compatibility and fast on-site installation.
This system features a stub cast into the façade, with the arm added later—traditionally from scaffolding or a mast climber. The stub avoids interference with access equipment and can serve as a tie point. More recently, the second arm is installed using a Remote Locker Device (RLD), eliminating the need for external access. This approach reduces cost and simplifies sequencing, though careful coordination with façade elements is still required.
