In modular, volumetric, or light gauge steel frame buildings, vertical wind posts can support Clip-On balcony connections. This triangulates forces and reduces load transfer to the façade. While effective, wind posts can be challenging to incorporate, so Sapphire recommends designing them out where possible to streamline construction.
