Role Purpose & Scope

To research, write and deliver engaging, quality content to support marketing activities across all channels helping to position the business as a thought leader, to educate the market, raise brand awareness and support lead generation activities to drive business growth.

Key Accountabilities

Social Media

  • Review, manage and own the social media strategy for the Sapphire and Resibuild brands
  • Research, write and edit content to maintain follower growth, brand awareness and engagement
  • Monitor key competitors’ performance and messaging to help inform Sapphire social media strategy
  • Establish a community management approach to increase brand loyalty and grow authentic connections.
  • Report on key metrics and social media performance in line with targets

PR

  • Work with our PR partners to build and adapt our PR strategy across the markets in which we operate
  • Review, edit and approve releases and articles from our partners
  • Report on key metrics related to PR performance in line with targets

Case Studies

  • Actively research and gather content for case study development
  • Work in collaboration with Sales and the Contract Managers to capture information on projects throughout the sales and build process
  • Write case studies in the Sapphire structure for use on website, social media, press and electronic media.
  • Work with the digital content creator to support development of video case study material

Thought Leadership

  • Maintain a programme of thought leadership pieces that position Sapphire as the leading voice in the construction industry
  • Research, write and produce our thought leadership content working closely with the Brand Director to ensure relevancy and technical compliance
  • Report on key metrics related to thought leadership and leads generated from the content.

Digital Content

  • Work with the Digital Marketing Manager to ensure website content is engaging, accurate, up to date and suitable for SEO.
  • Produce regular blogs on key topics
  • Support the wider marketing team on delivery of content for email marketing campaigns
  • Work closely with external graphic design agencies and internal resources to deliver supporting graphics for use alongside marketing communications.
  • Deliver design briefs, resources and provide quality control e.g. alignment with brand guidelines for graphics before publishing.

Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, English or a related field
  • At least five years of content creation for multiple channels
  • Experience with customer communication and managing communication partners
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and proof reading skills
  • Exceptional organisation and time managements skills
  • Good IT skills; including MS Office
  • Strong understanding and experience with LinkedIn, both organic and paid
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Has a strong journalistic approach to gathering information for content
