“It’s going well, all the dealings I’ve had with Sapphire have been very positive.”
Site Manager, John Paul Construction
A suburb of Dublin and a large commercial centre, Sandyford is best known for being home to multinational companies like Google, Microsoft and Facebook and large residential developments such as the brand-new Sandyford Central, an iconic new development featuring over 400 balconies manufactured and supplied by Sapphire.
Richmond Homes had aspired to create an iconic building for the Sandyford area. Working alongside them from an early stage, Sapphire was able to help design a building that stands out, whilst retaining a seamless, contemporary aesthetic.
The dilemma for Richmond Homes was to create this look without compromising on time or cost. Early engagement was key here. We helped by streamlining the balcony journey – we discovered what the key aspects of the different boundary types were and seamlessly connected them into one aesthetic design.
The solution here was creating an aesthetically pleasing balcony project that blended seamlessly with the larger development. Through early engagement, we were able to rationalise the design and reduce costs, all while keeping the vision in mind.
