Sapphire raising money to support improvements to education globally.

As a company, one of the values that marks our organisation is the commitment to the development of the youth. We see this as not only fulfilling a commitment to all stakeholders in the wider community but also ensuring the longevity and future prosperity of our company, our industry and the wider society. Consistent with our philosophy of taking action and being proactive, staff from Sapphire Balustrades Ltd are participating in an organised ‘Walkathon’ (sponsored walk) in July at the Windsor Race Course in support of charity.

We are not only donating generously ourselves and participating in the sponsored walk, but are looking to extend the opportunity and encourage all our valued customers, supplier and network of contacts for support us in this cause. Any donations will be gratefully received and will be transferred in total to Focus Learning Trust Capital Account, for the furtherance of education globally.

Windsor Racecourse, as it’s name suggests is located right beside the river Thames in Windsor and primarily hosts horse racing events. On 29th of July 2017 it will be populated with people dedicated to supporting charity. Those involved will be braving a combined 3000 Mile sponsored walk around Royal Windsor Racecourse to raise much needed funds for Focus Learning Trust Capital Account, for the furtherance of education globally. The Stampede-A-Thon involves over 500 participants in a 3 mile brisk-paced ‘stampede’ around the iconic racecourse.

All donations will be made to Focus Learning Trust, a registered charity in 2003 for the advancement of education, first and foremost providing leadership and support to its network of 28 UK independent schools. Focus is part of the OneSchool global network, one of the most extensive and progressive networks of schools and educational support services in the world. With schools in 18 countries worldwide, our 10,000 students are benefiting from the amazing results of global collaboration and cutting-edge educational methods.
