Key Accountabilities

Contract & Project Management
  • Manage design and delivery requests and coordinate installations of balconies and/or balustrades on allocated projects
  • Manage project budgets, programmes, and customer relationships
  • Collaborate with internal teams including:
    • Sales
    • Purchasing
    • Commercial
    • Quality
    • Site Liaison
  • Release approved designs and drawings to customers and external parties
  • Manage spending within agreed budgets and Stage 2 CTC
  • Authorise extra variations up to £2,000
  • Review project specifications, drawings, and technical documents
  • Raise RFIs (Requests for Information) where clarification is required
  • Develop Stage 2 and Stage 3 project budgets and cost plans
  • Review design portal documentation and manage specification revisions impacting costs
Design Management
  • Value engineer designs to maximise profitability and reduce costs
  • Instruct CAD Designers on project requirements and deadlines
  • Review and approve drawings internally
  • Coordinate with structural engineers to ensure compliance and performance standards
  • Arrange and lead Design Review Meetings
  • Submit designs and structural calculations to customers
  • Manage client feedback and approvals
Purchasing & Supplier Coordination
  • Issue supporting documentation to the purchasing team
  • Support purchasing strategy and maximise project value
  • Upload assembly and production drawings to supplier systems
  • Work with suppliers to ensure efficient assembly and production processes
Reporting & Administration
  • Complete weekly KPI reporting
  • Maintain updates within Monday.com
  • Produce monthly reports including:
    • Cost to Complete
    • Project Tracker reports
  • Present reports to Directors where required
Quality, Health & Safety
  • Work with the Quality Manager to review project Quality Plans
  • Oversee the issuance of O&M manuals
  • Ensure compliance with Health, Safety & Environmental requirements

Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications and Experience

Essential Requirements
  • Degree, HND, BTEC, or similar qualification
  • Full UK Driving License
  • CSCS Card
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in:
    • Construction project management
    • Contract management
    • Commercial negotiation
    • Project administration
    • Quality and health & safety management
  • Experience within the facade or balcony industry
  • Strong understanding of modular off-site construction
  • Management experience preferred
