Sapphire Gives Back: A Recap of Recent Charity Activity

We’re more than just a leading balcony manufacturer; we’re a community that strongly believes in giving back. Guided by principles and family values, we continuously seek ways to make a difference. In this blog, let’s catch up on our recent charity activities that have uplifted spirits, made a tangible impact and truly shown how Sapphire gives back.

Rapid Relief Team (RRT) Collaborations

Proactive Metropolitan Police Training at Heathrow

  • Our staff joined forces with the Rapid Relief Team (RRT) at a proactive Metropolitan police training event at Heathrow Airport.

Mock Major Incident at Reading FC Stadium

  • We participated in a mock major incident at Reading FC Stadium, bringing together multiple emergency services for effective crisis scenario training.

Supporting Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue

Reactive Incidents: Eversley Heathland Fire & Reading Building Fire

  • Our crew also responded to real emergencies, including a heathland fire in Eversley and a building fire in Reading, providing sustenance to emergency service personnel in real-time.

Fundraising for Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY)

  • Last year, we channelled our fundraising efforts towards CRY, a charity committed to reducing the number of young sudden cardiac deaths.
  • Thanks to a nomination from within our ranks and the generous contributions of the ATW group, we proudly donated £2,500 to this meaningful cause.
  • CRY’s Support Administrator, Nicola Whitehead, expressed gratitude for our support, which enables the charity to offer essential services and pursue their campaign aims.

Our ethos goes beyond delivering quality balconies; we’re committed to making a positive impact on communities and participating in activities that contribute to the greater good. We are incredibly proud of our staff’s dedication to these charitable activities and look forward to more community engagement.
