Green Park Extra Care in Reading is an example of true workmanship and the installation of 50 Glide-On™ Cassettes®, was not without its challenges. On this project, challenges included complicated inset balconies in various locations on the building and previous experience with multiple trades working on balconies.
In order to meet St Edwards‘ requirements and provide the best solutions for Green Park Extra Care, we were able to build in large amounts of tolerance to overcome the challenging brickwork in tight inset balconies. Being assembled in Winchester, the balconies were delivered to site with soffits and glass completed, meaning significantly fewer individuals were involved in each balcony install.
